Romans 8:32

"He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?"

Promises, promises. Doubt is the default attitude in our culture.  No one can be depended upon.  So, even as believers we are tempted when reading the breathtaking promises of God to doubt: "they are not for me" "God is talking aboutsome one or something else", "God simply doesn't know what I've done; or He does know and He is mocking me saying 'I'm going to dangle this promise out in front of you just so you know what you're missing."

May it never be!

God made his promises to you knowing the lousy wretched sinner you would be.  You are as human as anyone else.  Still the promises are for you and for all who trust them.  Turn off the MP3 player in your head that tells you to doubt the promises and begin trusting them today.

Thank you Father for many precious promises.

Thank You Son for making them apply.

Thank You Spirit for revealing them to the prophets so I may read and believe.

Your fellow truster,

Pastor Greg
