Nehemiah 6:9 ESV
"But now, O God, strengthen my hands.”
This is a prayer of a man who works. Nehemiah did not pray that God would take away the stresses of leadership; Nehemiah prayed that God would make him equal to the stresses of leadership. This is the kind of man God can use.
Praise You Father for stresses that stretch us.
Praise You Son for grace in those stresses.
Praise You Spirit for stretching us to make us more like You.
