2 Chronicles 26:10

2 Chronicles 26:10

And he built towers in the wilderness and cut out many cisterns, for he had large herds, both in the Shephelah and in the plain, and he had farmers and vinedressers in the hills and in the fertile lands, for he loved the soil.

Nothing particularly spiritual here: the guy loved the soil.  He sounds like my kind of guy (except at the very end--2 Ch 26:16-21).

I do think there is something 'spiritual' about the soil.  Cultures have felt this all the time of human history (obviously in wrong ways...and because there are demons who will mimic God or gods).  Technology and 'gadgets' are good in so far as they help us be human, after that they are no longer good, but positively evil.

Wow, there was a devo for the day!

Praise You Father for soil.

Praise You Son for my garden.

Praise You Spirit for the gadgets to do this quiet time.

Loving soil with you,
Pastor Greg
